Getting To the Mountaintop is a Team Effort

Getting to the mountaintop is a team effort. If you've ever accomplished anything, if you've ever done anything, you didn't do it on your own, even though you may think you did it on your own. Someone somehow, someway helped you. It wasn't just you.

The person that's holding the flag on the top of the mountain may have the job of holding the flag up there, but they would not have been there if it hadn't been for everyone else along the way.

It’s really important to me as we look at our business, we look at everything we do, and acknowledge that everyone's got a place and a part. So, if it's all you're trying to do in life is be the one holding the flag at the top of the mountain and think that is significant, I challenge you to say “there's so much more.” There's so much more you can be a part of and accomplish when you understand what it means to be a part of the team.
