History
The greatest value history can provide is the vantage that everything happens again, just a little differently.
For the last several years, I've read the book Think and Grow Rich. I’m rereading it now, and it’s so amazing the elements that the author Napoleon Hill shares in the late 1930s and how much they parallel the world we’re in today.
In that time and age, it was post Great Depression. The radio was taking off, an entirely new medium for communicating. The author, Napoleon Hill, shared how politically polarizing it was because of the aid going on during the Great Depression. It’s really amazing how those things just happen again.
As generations, we can quickly forget and repeat history.
So as I share today, the greatest value of history is to provide the vantage that everything happens again, just a little differently.
