You're Either Lifted Up or Dragged Down

You're either lifted up or dragged down.

It's not what happens to you, but rather who is around you that determines which it is. If you're around people that look at challenges and get excited by them, it's like, "Oh, this'll be fun. That's a tough challenge, but I'm in it with you." As opposed to the people that are like, "Woe is me." "Oh, here goes another thing in my life. Here's another tough difficulty."

People face difficulties every day from health diagnoses to challenges in relationships, to whatever it is in the workplace. The difference is the people that dwell on what happens to them and the people that rise to the challenge. You see it all the time in sports.

Things happen to people in life. It's happened to me, it's probably happened to you. Determine if you're lifted up or dragged down and find the people around you that say, "I got you. Let's go. Let's link arms."
