Pick Your Pace
If you've ever run a race or a marathon, one of the things that's important is you pick your pace.
My pace is different than your pace. Your pace is different than my pace. My pace is different than my wife's pace.
Here's what needs to happen: I need to pick my pace and be OK with that, and my wife needs to pick her pace and be OK with that.
Now, if we need to adjust our pace over time, that's on us. But, if we end up being in a situation where we feel like we need to match someone else's pace, we often get in trouble. We find ourselves burn out. We find ourselves where we can't finish.
The only way to fail, or to lose, or to not accomplish, is to stop.
Just pick a pace that you can stick with.
