Welcome People When They Join; Cheer Them On When They Leave

Welcome people when they join; cheer them on when they leave.

Their presence, however long it may be, is a gift.

Why am I sharing this?

We have people come and go in our lives. That is life. People aren't going to be with you forever for a lot of different reasons. Instead of feeling like you're getting abandoned, or rejected, or violated when they come and go, sometimes them going is the best thing for you and them.

For people coming into your life, that could be the best thing for you and them.

Everything's got a shelf life; it’s okay.

There’s an ebb and flow, and so when people join you, welcome them.

When they choose to go off and do other things, cheer them on.

Just be grateful for the time, the experiences, the learning, the growth that you had together that's good and bad.

People come into your life, and yes, sometimes they do harmful things. You can look back and appreciate better people who don't harm you and celebrate what you learned from it.

Welcome people when they join; cheer them on when they leave.

We have people come and go in our lives. That is life.
