What We Do Today Will Not Last Forever

What we do today cannot and will not last forever.

It’s an adage that we should live by. Just because we're doing it today doesn't mean it will happen, occur, or last into tomorrow.

It’s a management philosophy from Peter Drucker, the father of management. A philosophy he worked hard to share.

I think what's important is if we get so ingrained in what we're doing that we can't see anything outside of that, we end up being myopic.

So myopic, we're going to miss an opportunity to pivot. We will miss a chance to evolve and grow. We must look for those opportunities to adjust.

Be aware that a leader sees more and before to see around corners.

If we can see more and before in our life, if we can see more and before as we're encouraging and impacting others, our ability to make an impact will last.

We must look for those opportunities to adjust.
