I had the pleasure to be on a friend's podcast yesterday, and we were discussing this. He asked, “Tyler, what's one thing that every leader needs to focus on?”
I said connecting. Connecting with the people they influence; connecting with the people that are around; connecting with the people that are in their life.
One of the best ways to connect with people is just a simple smile. Just a simple, authentic, genuine smile.
