With Trust Comes Effort
With trust comes effort.
If we question someone's effort, do they really trust?
Now, there's a couple layers of trust.
Do they trust you that if they make a mistake, it's okay?
Do they trust that whatever they do is going to matter?
Do they trust that they're going to be rewarded?
Now, that could be financially, that could be affirmations, that could be many different ways of being rewarded.
See, with trust comes effort. It really is that simple.
Will shared it.
Will shared it in a restaurant working with people from so many different avenues to create the finest dining experience in the world. That's what they did.
With trust comes effort. If you want more effort, build more trust. That lies square on your shoulders.
Now, as a leader, we have the opportunity to build trust. If you don't trust those that you work around, that's on you, too. What are you doing to demand trust?
See, trust is a two way street. We demand trust because we ask people. It's an expectation.
If you can't or if it's been broken and not repairable, then that's a sign, because no effort is going to come without trust.
