We All Have a Foundation

Whether you dig for it or you stand on it, at some point, we all have a foundation.

It’s something that our life is built upon. Now, at times in life, just as with buildings, we have to dig down and fix those foundations.

I talked to a friend of mine yesterday and all of the sudden, all the doors in the front of his house are just a little tight. They don't quite fit right. All of the sudden, he found out that his house, which is 40 years old, has settled a half an inch and that caused all of the doors to just not set right. That can happen to us. And sometimes, we need to prop up our foundation.

Sometimes, we need to put a little bit more into it, so it's solid. It happens. We each have something foundational. My friend is going to dig down to reset his foundation, and sometimes in our own lives, we have to dig a little deeper to find out and understand where our foundation is.

Whether you stand on it already or you have to dig for it, somewhere, somehow, there is a foundation.
